The route was generated from the observation through empirical research conducted in Colonia Renovación and ethical interviews with garbage collectors. It shows how the landscape of the colony is efficiently distributed to undertake municipal, electronic and medical waste management. The maps were developed as part of the research work conducted to understand the waste management system of Colonia Renovación, Mexico City. A visual study of structural role of CDMX Government garbage trucks that plays a crucial role for the sustenance of the informal economy. It is a vehicle of tertiary economy that collects the consumer waste (2nd economy) from the residential and industrial sectors and transports to the informal sector (hidden economy) to get recycled into reusable materials (primary economy). It brings livelihood to the people employed in informal waste recycling practice in Colonia renovación, Mexico city. It is as an example of how a node of system meant for formal purpose gets repurposed to serve local necessity and becomes the connection of the disdain reality with adjacent world.
